Four million dollar grant establishes first exposome center in the nation at Emory's Rollins School of Public Health

Health and Exposome Research Center: Understanding Lifetime Exposures (HERCULES), funded by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) of the National Institutes of Health is launched as an Environmental Health Sciences Core Center and involves 38 investigators from both Emory and Georgia Tech. The research aims to increase understanding of relationships between the environment, health and disease.  Emory's Dr. Gary Miller explains the importance of this new field.
